The Roadies MIX F1 Tyre is the result of an intensive process of development and testing. What is a Mixed Tyre ? The ROADIES MIX Tyre uses a soft compound on its` inner surface while a slightly harder compound is used on its outside surface. The difference is not visible to the naked eye. Driving through long and fast corners not using the fill range of steering, the outside compound is in charge and provides an easy to handle car. Using the full range of steering for short corners will result in quick and easy drive through such corners as the tyre will use its inside surface due to the caster that increases the camber. On top of the easy and quick drivability the wear of the tyre is even less than with other compounds.


Long Life: Compared to other Products available in the market, the Roadies MIX offers the best wear rate of all brands. Especially the front tyres which are an issue in F1 racing but are the pure strength of the Roadies Pro

Alternatively one may use the Lightscale Disc System to create the look of a disc design rim. Roadies and Lightscale Discs give you the choice, today?s look or the look of the good old past.

To get the best from the Roadies F1 Tyre in full range we would kindly ask you to take care about our following tips and instructions.

- Before use please pierce a whole into the thread of the tyre so the tyre is able to breathe when getting hot and cold again. To do so you may use a needle or a helix drill.

- To reach maximum lifetime we do recommend running in the tyre carefully for about 2-3 minutes with slow speed and avoiding spinning wheels or locking tyres in this period. This is just as you would with full size tyres on your car, you run them in first to acclimatize the compound material. Ideally the tyre should be used only 24 hours (or more) after running in. Though longer the time gap between running in and first race use, the better the lifetime will be. Please do not store the tyre longer than 12 month after running it in. Also, please do not store in the sun?s rays as ultraviolet light over a period of time can alter the tyre characteristics. This would then lead to worse performance.
- If you have changed from a different brand of tyre such as GRP/PMT to the Roadies you may need to fine-tune your car to the demands of the Roadies to gain full performance. Roadies have a bigger diameter. You may not have to change the gear ratio but your top speed will be higher.
- The Roadie PRO even in bad conditions such as low temperature or dusty tracks does not need a lot oft toe in to the rear of the car. Usually 1° toe in is enough. It is very important to adjust this parameter correctly as you will loose steering in front if the toe in is too much. Furthermore the front tyre will loose lifetime due to under steer too much rear toe-in creates.
- It is not necessary to fine-tune roll centers but you may reset the ride height of your car and adjust down stops to the bigger diameter of the Roadies PRO. Due to the high torque load on the bonding of tires on largescale cars, checking the bonding from time to time and re-glueing if necessary is unavoidable.
