The Roll is to be used on the outside when long fast corners (so called sweapers) are part of the track. The Roll is not that much agressive in steering as the PRO is and makes that car easier to controll in such corners and provides even better lifetime. Whilst supplying these advantages the ROLL has only little less steering in short corners

To benefit from the advantages of roadies F1 tires in full, we ask you to follow these hints:

-> Before use punch or drill 2 small holes through the tread of the tire, use a needle or a peeling drills for this task. Make the holes in the negative part of the profile. This allows the tire to "breathe" and not overheat even under heavy loads and high outside temperatures.

-> To prolong the life it is important to break in the tires before the first race. Run the tires for 2-3 minutes at slow speed and avoid wheel spin during acceleration and locking of wheels when braking. It?s best to do this about 24 hours (or more) before you actually use the tires. The longer the tire is stored after the break in period, the better the durability. The performance of the tire does not suffer from storage, unless it?s longer than 1 year.

-> If you change from a different tire manufacturer such as GRP to Roadies, some changes to the vehicle setup are useful. Roadies have a larger diameter. The difference is not that big that you would have to change the gearing, but you will get a higher top speed.

-> The Roadies Pro rear tires needs significantly less toe-in than other types of tires, even under poor conditions (low temperature or dirty track). Usually 1° toe-in at the rear is just fine.
It is very important to adjust this setting, otherwise there may be an increased wear on the front tires and the car will not turn around tight corners as good as possible.

-> A change of the roll center is not necessary, but the vehicle's ride height should be adjusted according to the larger tire diameter.
