The Maxi-Pin competition tire is particularly suitable for tracks with a hard packed surface, as well as for tracks with a higher percentage of carpeting.

The tread is not extended into the tire?s sidewall to reduce the side bite of the Maxi-Pin tire; the car remains controllable on such challenging tracks, which makes this tire a must-have for your "tire box"!

Since the Maxi-Pin tire has many fine pins for a high number of biting edges and a low tread depth for reduced flex work, depending on the track?s surface
increased tire wear may be expected. Due to the high torque load on the bonding of tires on largescale cars, checking the bonding from time to time and re-glueing if necessary is unavoidable.

For wet conditions the soft compound is recommended, under normal condition the medium compound is usually your best choice.

HPI Baja 5 cars can also use these tires when equipped with special adapters.
